During this educational tour, and under the scholarly guidance of Dr. Aliyi and Dr. Dahmarde, the archaeology students of Gonabad University spent six days exploring the historical and ancient sites of Fars Province.

The itinerary included visits to the Pasargadae complex, Persepolis (Takht-e Jamshid), and the city of Gor (Firoozabad); as well as Ardashir Papakan's Palace, Eagle's Castle, the cities of Bishapur and Gharshapur. The tour also featured several Islamic historical sites in Shiraz, such as Eram Garden, Karim Khan Citadel, Vakil Mosque, Vakil Bazaar, Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, Narenjestan Qavam, and the Holy Shrine of Shah Cheragh
